The pints that we hand-packed from the final churn were made with the vanilla-est vanilla base. The pods steeped in this liquid the longest, and we squeezed the aromatic vanilla cream into the base before we threw the final 2 quarts into the Emery Thompson batch freezer. Vanilla geeks, you have been heard.
